United Martial Arts

Welcome

United Martial Arts is a school dedicated to teaching the martial arts as a means of personal growth and improvement.

We offer a broad range of classes designed to promote and preserve a person's health, well-being and tranquility.

The study of the martial arts is the study of physics as it relates to the human body.  It's an owner's manual for the self, and how you relate to the world around you.

The martial arts are a comprehensive personal training system that encompasses the following areas:

  1. Preventative physical therapy or sports medicine to develop good physical habits as a means of improving helath and quality of life, while reducing the liklihood of injury.
  2. Conditioning training to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and cardiovascular health.
  3. Relaxation and stress relief.  Physically learning how to relax, and how to use the body so that tension is unnecessary.
  4. Practical self defense skills designed to keep you safe and confident.

8 classes are avalable each week.  The schedule is open; you do not need to enroll in any particular class or time.  You can come in when you want, or when your schedule permits.

You can pick and choose which classes best suit your needs and interests.  Or if you find that you are interested in the whole program, you can enjoy training in our entire curriculum.

Memberships are available starting at 1 or 2 classes per week and ranging up to 6+ classes per week.  We even offer an unlimited membership for people looking for total immersion in the martial arts.

You can build a training schedule that fits your lifestyle and your goals.  You can also supplement your training with private lessons in areas of special interest.

We offer a complimentary class to anyone interested in our school.  Please email or call ahead to schedule an appointment.

The key to martial arts training is to find a style, school, and teacher that you are comfortable with.  Every style is fundamentially physics, but which approach fits you?

If you enjoy it, you will practice; and practice is the secret to success.  Like many 'secrets' in life, it's really no secret at all.

"To develop yourself you must turn away from mysticism and mythology, and the belief in secrets you imagine will transform you.

Science and Nature are your only teachers, and correct training is the only Way"
